Welcome to Semester 2!


We are starting our class together with a fun simulation exercise where students are marooned on a desert island. How will they cope??? What will they do???
Stay tuned to learn their ultimate fate!

We are working on Portfolio 3 now which is also the culminating task for the course.
Students are working through their career cruising package as well as researching and developing a "career" presentation.
They will also be creating resumes and cover letters for themselves.
We have lab time Monday-Wednesday of next week. We will then be presenting our projects to the class.

Unit 1 is now due!

We have started Unit 2 which is based on The Be Real Game.
Students will be taking on character roles and using theior roles to explore various career options, budgeting, and education options.

Welcome to Careers!
As part of Unit 1 we will be doing lots of personality surveys and questionaires to learn more about ourselves. We will then be looking at Communication and Listening Skills.
Portfolio 1 will be due at the end of this unit.
